How We Started
From a teenager's realization to a family mission changing lives across rural India.
The Naina Project was founded in 2024 because of the vision difficulties our founder, Anoushka, faced throughout her childhood. This experience made her realize how life-changing it is to see clearly, prompting her to consider the difficulties faced by students who lack access to adequate eye care—an insight that sparked our mission.
We partner with schools and opticians in under-resourced communities to provide vision testing and eyeglasses for students there, raise funds to provide for their eyecare, and raise awareness about the vision challenges encountered worldwide.
Today, we take pride in making a tangible impact by giving students the gift of clear sight, empowering them to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams!
